Duo Chameleon
Duo Chameleon is an international guitar duo formed by Leon Ravnikar (Slovenia)and Kamil Anioł (Poland), two outstanding young artists who have already established themselves as leading solo guitarists of their generation. United by a shared artistic vision and a natural musical chemistry, the duo creates performances marked by expressive depth, refined ensemble playing, and stylistic versatility.
The duo was founded in 2023 during their studies in Vienna, where they discovered a deep musical connection and a common approach to sound, phrasing, and interpretation. Since then, Duo Chameleon has quickly gained international recognition, winning major prizes at prestigious competitions and performing on prominent concert stages.
Among their notable achievements are First Prize at the 33rd International Guitar Festival Iserlohn (2025)—one of the world’s most prestigious guitar competitions—First Prize and Grand Prix at Baltic Guitar Days (2023) in Poland, and prizes at the Altamira International Guitar Competition in Gorizia, Italy.
Beyond their competition successes, Duo Chameleon performs regularly in diverse concert settings, including appearances with orchestra at the Slovenian Philharmonic, a charity concert for Slovenian National Television, and invitations as featured artists at renowned international guitar festivals. Their repertoire spans the classical canon, contemporary works, and music inspired by the rich musical traditions of their home countries.
Future plans Duo Chameleon continues to build an international performing schedule, pursue new collaborative projects, and commission works that reflect their bilingual cultural background and evolving artistic vision. Their ongoing goal is to bridge tradition and innovation, presenting music that resonates with both specialist and wider audiences.
